Privacy Policy

We are committed to being transparent about the data we collect and why. This Policy applies to your use of Keirly Studio.

This Policy covers information collected through Keirly Studio. It does not cover the practices of third-party providers, which are governed by their own privacy policies.

We collect the following categories of information where actually applicable:

• Name — your full name as entered on your profile.
• Email — used for authentication and account communication.
• Profile photo — if you upload one.
• Password / authentication metadata — handled by the Base44 platform authentication service; we do not store plaintext passwords.
• Production memberships and roles — which productions you belong to and your role in each.
• Invitations — records of production invitations you send or receive.
• Messages and discussions — production chat, comments, and private messages you send.
• Tasks and comments — tasks assigned to productions and your comments on them.
• Notifications — in-app and (where enabled) email notifications.
• Scripts and script annotations — uploaded script files, pin notes, and markup strokes.
• Uploaded images, videos, audio, PDFs, receipts, invoices, and documents — production files and budget attachments.
• Call sheets — call-sheet documents and their contents.
• Production contacts — vendor and contact information you add.
• Billing / subscription metadata — plan status and billing period (payment card data is handled by Stripe, not stored by us).
• Device type, browser, and operating system — derived from your device.
• IP address — processed by the platform for security and operation; we do not store full IP addresses in legal-acceptance records unless separately disclosed.
• Logs — service operation logs.
• Crashes and performance data — collected to the extent provided by the platform or when you submit a bug report with diagnostics consent.
• Feature-interaction data — anonymous event counts through the platform analytics API.
• Support requests — the content of tickets you submit.
• Beta feedback — feedback you voluntarily provide.

You provide your name, email, profile details, and production content directly. You control most profile fields and may edit or remove them.

Content you upload or create within productions (scripts, files, messages, comments, call sheets, storyboards, and similar) is stored to provide the service. Access to this content is governed by production and section permissions set by the production owner or an authorized access manager.

We automatically collect device type, browser, operating system, and limited technical information needed to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the service.

Keirly Studio uses essential storage (such as local session and authentication tokens) necessary to operate the service. We do not use advertising cookies.

We use information to provide, operate, secure, and improve the service; to communicate with you about your account and productions; to process payments; to prevent abuse; and to comply with legal obligations.

During the Keirly Studio beta, we may collect device, diagnostic, crash, performance, and feature-interaction data to test, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the service.

Keirly Studio does not record the contents of calls, private messages, scripts, or uploaded production files for analytics unless we provide a separate notice and obtain any consent required by law.

We disclose information to service providers as necessary to operate Keirly Studio, and where required by law or to protect rights and safety. We do not sell your personal information.

Confirmed providers used to operate Keirly Studio:

• Base44 platform — database, hosting, file storage, and authentication.
• Stripe, Inc. — payment processing.
• LiveKit — video and audio calls.
• Base44 Core integrations — AI/OCR features (InvokeLLM, ExtractDataFromUploadedFile) and email (SendEmail).

Subscription payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card number on our servers. Stripe handles payment data under its own privacy and security standards. We receive subscription status and billing-period information to manage your plan entitlements.

We do not sell your personal information. We share information with service providers only as necessary to operate Keirly Studio, and as required by law.

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. Wrapped productions retain their data in read-only mode.

We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

You can review and adjust many preferences in Settings, including notification categories and account preferences. You may edit your profile information at any time.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information. You can submit these requests via the privacy contact area in Settings. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe. Account deletion is not instantaneous; certain records may be retained where reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, legal obligations, dispute resolution, enforcement, and backup-cycle completion.

This beta draft does not claim full CCPA compliance. Where applicable, California residents may have rights to know, delete, and correct personal information, subject to exceptions.

Keirly Studio is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will take steps to delete it.

Your information may be processed by our service providers in countries other than your own. By using Keirly Studio, you consent to that transfer where applicable law requires consent.

If Play Pretend Originals LLC is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you where required.

We may disclose information where required by law or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Play Pretend Originals LLC, our users, or others.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When the required version changes, users will be prompted to acknowledge the updated Policy once. We will indicate the effective date and last-updated date on the policy.
